Why the venue number can be misleading. A $6,000 “venue-only” quote often covers just the space. You still hire a planner, a day-of coordinator, a decorator, a bartender, rentals and staff separately. Zola puts a Spokane wedding planner at about $4,000 and bar services at about $3,800 on their own. When you compare Lavender Manor’s full packages, compare them against the venue plus everything those packages include.

About the bar. Lavender Manor allows beer, wine, champagne, wine coolers and hard seltzers. Hard liquor, including mixed drinks and shots, isn’t permitted on the estate, and a licensed bartender must serve all alcohol. For many couples this keeps bar costs well below a full open bar.

About booking. A signed contract and a booking fee secure your date. The fee depends on your package and goes toward your balance, and the remainder is due 4 months before your wedding. Confirm the current booking fee when you visit for a venue tour.

Ways to save on a Lavender Manor wedding

The biggest savings come from your day of the week, your guest count, and choosing a bundle instead of hiring vendors one by one.

  1. Pick a weekday. Our intimate packages are available Sunday through Thursday (Arbor) or Friday (Pavilion and Cottage), starting at $1,100.
  2. Trim the guest list. Zola’s Spokane data shows a total cost of about $19,000 at 50 guests versus about $31,000 at 100. Our 30 tips for building your guest list can help.
  3. Bundle your vendors. Manor includes planning, coordination, décor and a bartender, which couples often hire separately. Palace adds catering, a DJ, photo and video, and florals.
  4. Serve beer and wine. Our beer, wine and seltzer policy keeps the bar simpler and less expensive than a full liquor bar.
  5. Plan for weather, not rentals. Our 3,200 sq ft tent is part of the reception space, so you don’t need a backup tent rental. Here’s what happens if it rains.
  6. Lean on the setting. Lavender fields, Mt. Spokane views and five altar options mean you need less décor to make it beautiful.
